District Literacy Coach (Goodman ACE)
Quiana Williams believes that education changes the trajectory of families by enabling them to positively transform their communities through literacy. Embarking on her seventh year in Aldine ISD, Ms. Williams supports teachers at Goodman Elementary by upholding the Amplify CKLA curriculum. As a district literacy coach, Ms. Williams believes that Amplify, specifically CKLA, has elevated student thinking to encompass a broader yet deeper understanding and connection of the world through literacy components that are diverse and reflect the students’ culture, community and ethnic background.
Ms. Williams is a graduate of Howard University where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Information Technology. She also holds a Masters of Education in Reading from Sam Houston State University. Ms. Williams recently completed her Principal Certification through Lamar University and looks forward to being a dynamic campus leader.
Ms. Williams is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Jack and Jill of America, Inc.
When she is not working with her students or serving the community, she enjoys spending time with family, reading and dancing.
