Janeth Cornejo, a certified bilingual/ESL teacher with an M.Ed in counseling, is an ELAR District Literacy Coach for middle school and a presenter for the Teaching and Learning Department.  Presentations include working with ELs, supporting new arrival students, and supporting students in the reading/writing process, which she has presented at both the TABE and NABE conferences.  She has 15 years of experience working with students and teachers in grades 5th to 8th.  Janeth is an advocate for equity for all students and believes that every student deserves an opportunity to see themselves in the books that they read.
