Deena Duarte Fell has supported Waterford.org partners, across the country, for over 10 years. Her goal is to make everyone feel comfortable and confident while learning new teaching tools and seamlessly integrating technology into everyday classroom routines. She's passionate about making life easier for all educators and administrators, while also empowering families~especially newcomer families and those with students who are English learners.
Deena lives in Houston, Texas, and is a certified Texas teacher with ESOL and Bilingual Endorsements. She taught 4th and 5th grades in Houston ISD, Round Rock ISD, and Lago Vista, ISD. She has since worked with all grade levels, including multi-age Life Skills & Exceptional Needs classrooms, focusing on adapting technology tools to reach all learners and learning styles. Prior to joining Waterford.org, she was an Implementation Specialist for Pearson Digital Learning. She holds a BS in Communication and Spanish from McMurry University and has done graduate work at the University of St. Thomas in Houston.
