How do we ensure emergent bilingual learners are provided with academically rigorous and culturally relevant opportunities during instructional time? In this session, we will cover instructional strategies to use to align with Aldine's instructional framework, along with covering TELPAS domains to prepare your students to become analytical readers, skillful writers, and effective communicators for success in college, career, and life. Attendees will review four instructional strategies and perform an instructional strategy to support culture, speaking, and writing in your classroom. This session is appropriate for grades K-12, all subject areas.
