In this session titled, Chart the Right Way (Anchor Chart 101), participants will gain research-based knowledge around the what, when, why, and how of creating effective anchor charts. This year more than ever, educators need to use strategies that will help students keep learning relevant and accessible. This session will highlight why anchor charts, if done the right way, can be great tools to use to offer a visual reference while students are doing guided or independent practice. Participants will leave with an understanding and helpful guidelines to ensure that "The walls are teaching even when you are not.”
